Custom Parts Cart VCARVE PRO 12.5 ONLY (if you have older version use the DXF file instead)

Features

  • All the same features as the other parts cart with some added bonuses

  • Full instructions with photos on how to import

  • Notches and dados - Quicker and more accurate assembly. No more measuring, and no more jigs to ensure proper spacing, etc.

  • Improved machining - Minimizes vacuum loss by leaving an “onion skin” (0.012”/0.3048mm) for all features before performing through cuts to release parts from the stock (interior features, then parts profiling).

  • Improved divider geometry - Stronger dividers that also make placing parts quicker and easier.

  • Engraved slot numbering - Apply paint or colored epoxy to the numbers to quickly identify each assembly slot, along with the associated parts cubby below each assembly slot.

  • Branding - While files include Sublime Woodworks branding by default, your company branding can be substituted for a nominal upcharge ($25.00).

  • Added height - An extra inch has been added to the parts cubbies to accommodate taller parts along with full-depth cubbies for stretchers or nailers.

  • Rear Nook- For 1/4" backers or bigger panels

  • Weight Reduction - With the added cutouts cart weight was reduced by almost 60lbs.

Materials Used

  • 6 sheets of 4×8 material

  • 4" locking swivel casters, set of 4 with 1/4-20 x 1-1/4" long bolts with flathead tops

  • 1/4-20 nylon lock nuts

  • GRK #8 x 1-1/2" R4™ star-drive flat head screws (137 screws total)

  • 27 Lamello Tenso P-14 or Clamex P-14 connectors

Substitute

  • If Lamello Zeta P2 is not an option, you can use 18 Clamex S-20 connectors + 9 standard biscuits instead of Tenso/Clamex P-14.

  • Can also use a Domino of Biscuit Joiner

Tools Required

  • 60° V-groove Bit

  • 1/8” End Mill

  • 3/8” Compression Bit

Other tools used:

  • Lamello Zeta P2 with positioning pins and a 6 mm alignment pin (Can shut off in Parameters if you don’t have a Lamello.

    (The Lamello was used to secure the top of the cubbies to the bottom of the fixed shelf only)
